Antique Farming Association Stops in Hebron

Approximately 40 antique tractors lined Roosevelt Park Monday evening as members of the Nebraska Antique Farming Association made their way into Hebron. The association is participating in its annual Tractor Relay Across Nebraska (TRAN) event dedicated to raising funds for the American Legion’s Operation Comfort Warriors program. This is the first time the group has veered this far south and the first time to use the race as a fundraiser. The association, traveling from Nebraska City to Haigler along U.S. 136 over a nine-day period, enjoyed musical entertainment by area locals and could purchase a meal provided by the Hebron Volunteer Fire Department. They departed early Tuesday morning. Pictured above: A parade of tractors driven by Nebraska Antique Farming Association members enters Hebron via First Street Monday evening.
