Museum to host Christmas Tree display
The Thayer County Museum is once again hosting a parade of Christmas trees this holiday season, Dec. 2 through Jan. 6. The Christmas Tree display will be open to the public every Wednesday and Sunday from 1-4 p.m., or by special appointment for group tours.
Curator Jackie Williamson said the museum is currently inviting organizations, businesses, school groups or individuals to decorate a tree. The theme this year is “Carols of Christmas,” opening a wide variety of decorating ideas.
Anyone wishing to decorate a tree is asked to contact Jackie Williamson at 402-768-6845 or Annette Laber at 402-768-2327 to make arrangements. Trees need to be finished by Nov. 26. The museum offers trees and lights to use, but anyone can bring their own.
