Former Hebron Resident Named Architecture Dean at University of Nebraska

Scott W. Killinger has been appointed to the position of interim dean in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Architecture. Born and raised in Hebron, Killinger graduated from Hebron High School in 1956 and received his undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Nebraska in 1961.

Earning his masters degree in architecture and city planning from the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Killinger has over 40 years of architecture experience that spans the globe.
Mr. Killinger is a founding partner of Beijing-based Kuang Xing International Planning and Design. He previously worked at The Hillier Group and EwingCole and  taught at University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Design for ten years.

He also inaugurated a semester-long study program for University of Nebraska architecture students in the Chinese city of Tianjin to learn about local building practices and local culture for a semester with their Chinese counterparts.
