Bruning-Davenport Chapter Celebrates National FFA Week
In celebration of National FFA Week, the Bruning-Davenport FFA Alumni recognized the Bruning-Davenport FFA chapter and their advisor, Siera Meyer, on their accomplishments this year. The group has been busy in their school and community with a number of activities including learning about agriculture and developing their leadership skills. The goal of the FFA is to “make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education” according to their website. Career events are scheduled for this week. Around 22 members of the chapter will head to Southeast Community College in Beatrice on March 3 to participate in several career development contests.
