Commissioners vote to join SE Nebraska Drug Court
The Thayer County Board of Commissioners met on Dec. 26. During this meeting, the group spoke with many organizations’ representatives and made decisions about on-going items of business.
One of the decisions made during the meeting was concerning the Southeast Nebraska Adult Drug Court. Last month, the group had discussed this program with Cristy Rivers from the Southeast Nebraska Drug Court. After more consideration, the group voted to join other counties in providing the option for at least one year.
Commissioners also opened bids for new motor graders. Bids were received from Murphy Tractor and Nebraska Machinery. Representatives from both businesses were present to discuss the bids.
