Two Hebron men allegedly working together were arrested Aug. 27 after local law enforcement received a call from a witness stating the men were breaking into vehicles and stealing items out of them.
Gary Little and Nickalas Lutt, both 23 and both of Hebron, are accused of finding and stealing a loaded handgun, electronics, tools and other items which law enforcement officials were later able to recover. “It was especially alarming that a loaded handgun was in the hands of these suspects,” stated Thayer County Sheriff David Lee. “This is an important reminder to lock your vehicles.”
Lutt is currently lodged at the Thayer County jail in Hebron while Little is being housed at the Jefferson County jail. “The Thayer County jail is currently at capacity,” Sheriff Lee said.
