Holiday Weekend Arrests

Even over the holiday weekend, sheriff deputies were still hard at work and made several arrests.

On Christmas Eve, deputies took in Brian Arkland, 39, of Hardy, Nebraska for a second DUI offense  and felony criminal mischief.

Arkland was arrested around 10:30 p.m. after a disturbance was reported at the Express Carwash in Hebron.

He is being held in the Thayer County Jail on a $15,000 ten percent bond.

The following Sunday, sheriff deputies responded to a domestic disturbance around 4:40 a.m. in the 500 block of 1st St. in Deshler.

Timothy Ridolfi, 49, of Deshler, was arrested for strangulation and domestic assault.

The victim refused medical treatment.

Ridolfi is being held at the Thayer County Jail.

The inmate count at the Thayer County Jail is now up to six.
