National Biker Club visits Gilead

The Four-Stroke Singles National Owners Club visited Thayer County last weekend, specifically stopping by the Pioneers Inn in Gilead for lunch and to show off “thumpers.” The club specializes in collecting, riding and maintaining four-stroke-single-cylinder motorcycles and often travels to rural areas with great places to eat. Pioneers Inn owner Karen Keilwitz said she asked the group of 40 riders to sign their names and where they were from when they convened at the restaurant. Riders from 12 states including Nebraska, made the trip.
