One vehicle accident injures three

A one vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. 81 and Highway 8 at Chester left three people injured Tuesday, Aug. 3. Around 12:50 p.m., Erica Congdon, 29, of Chester, who was southbound on U.S. 81 in her 2001 Dodge Durango, veered off the road and hit two utility poles head on. Two passengers, a 16-year old female and Charlotte Young, 51, of Chester, were also injured. Chester Fire and Hebron Rescue were on the scene.
