Reinke donates $100,000 for pool
Reinke Manufacturing, a global leader in irrigation systems and technology headquartered in Deshler, announced it has pledged $100,000 to help build a new swimming pool for the City of Deshler.
“We live and work here, so it’s important for Reinke to support Deshler community projects like the swimming pool,” Chris Roth, Reinke President, said. “People need recreation opportunities to live healthy lives. With so many of our employees living in the Deshler area, it just made sense for us to support our community and make a donation to this project.”
The City of Deshler hopes to have the building funds secured to begin construction by April 2021.
The company also supports Deshler Public Schools by sponsoring the school’s robotics team for the past two years and developing a welding program more than 11 years ago that continues to provide hands-on learning for students.
Reinke is proud its roots run deep in Deshler and it employs many people in the area from welders and fabricators to electrical engineers.
