Two vehicle accident in Deshler sends one driver to hospital

A two vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Hebron Street and Sixth Street in Deshler Monday evening.

According to the accident report, at 8:13 p.m. Matthew Casey, of Fairmont, was southbound on Sixth Street in Deshler. He was driving in a 2013 Chevy van owned by Gelco Corporation. Diana Jacobe of Deshler was eastbound on Hebron Street in a 2014 Nissan. Neither driver saw the other until the collision occurred in the intersection.

Jacobe was transported by Deshler Rescue to Thayer County Health Services for injuries.
