Davenport man faces felony sexual assault charges

Local law enforcement officials arrested James Humphrey, 49, of Davenport, last Friday for several sexual assault charges.

According to court documents, he is charged with first degree sexual assault of a child, a class 1B felony; first degree sexual assault of a child, a class two felony; and two counts of third degree sexual assault of a child, both class three felonies.

Humphrey is currently being held in Thayer County jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
