Thayer Central State Wrestling Results

Thayer Central’s Tyler Hergott competed in the state wrestling tournament last weekend at the Century Link Center in Omaha. Hergott (28-13) won by decision over Aaron Allison North Platte St. Patrick`s (36-10) in his first round. Hergott then won by decision over Colten Bergt of Amherst (39-8) but in the semifinals lost to Jaydon Elge of Nebraska Christian (36-0) (Fall 2:44).

Thayer Central’s Marshal Holtzclaw also competed in the state wrestling tournament last weekend at the Century Link Center in Omaha. Holtzclaw (20-22) was defeated in his first match against Colby Erickson (Winside) 32-8 (Fall 4:48). Holtzclaw went on to face and defeat RJ Tutlam-Hazen of Medicine Valley (7-20) but ultimately lost to Garrett Elfeldt of Sutherland (33-11) in his last match.
