District Court Resumes Schedule
After skipping the month of July, district court has picked up once more.
Danny Haines, 36, entered into a plea agreement with prosecutors. Haines pled no contest to strangulation, a class IV felony, and terroristic threats (C4F). Haines faces a possible sentence of up to five years in jail and $10,000 in fines. His next court date is set for October 1 at 10 a.m. when he will be sentenced.
Darren Vogel, 35, charged with terroristic threats (C4F), strangulation (C4F) and domestic assault (C1M), had a tentative trial date set. His next court date is September 3 at 9:45 a.m.
After confusion regarding the court date, Jesse Durflinger, 24, charged with using a firearm to commit a felony (C1CF), terroristic threats (C4F), obstruction of officer (C1M) and third degree assault (C1M), failed to appear in court. Judge Vicki Johnson refrained from sending out a warrant but warned that if he did not show up for his September 3 appointment to expect one.
