Allison Tietjen Competes in Miss Nebraska Pageant

Allison Tietjen of Chester competed in the three-day Miss Nebraska pageant held in North Platte last week finishing as third runner-up.

Megan Swanson of Omaha won the title.

Tietjen earned the Miss Heartland crown last summer during the Nebraska State Fair. Her talent was the piano and her platform was “Empowering Young Women Through Community Service.”

The contestants competed over three days in evening wear, swim wear, talent, and interviews. Allison is the daughter of Cary and Amy Tietjen of Chester.
