City Approves Community Center Plan

A rendition of the City Council approved community center in Hebron was created by JEO Consulting Group, Inc. The facility, which faces east on the triangle of land north of Hebron on U.S. 81, is a 10,935 square foot pre-manufactured metal building in ash gray and polar white with charcoal trim. Burgundy bricks and a wrought-iron fence comprise a decorative scheme for the front entrance and patio area.

The Hebron City Council approved plans for the Stastny Community Center during its regular meeting June 2. JEO Consulting Group senior project manager Marvin Larson presented the finalized outline of the 10,935 square foot pre-manufactured metal building to the board and went over details during the meeting.

Cost range for the building and site is between $1.6 million and $1.8 million, he said, while total construction and furnishings will range from $1.8 million to $2 million.
