Break-in discovered at car wash

A break-in was discovered at Express Wash, the car wash located behind 81 Express in Hebron.

According to Thayer County Sheriff David Lee, the break-in occurred during the early morning hours of June 30. Some cash was removed from the business. Video footage was recovered from the time of the break-in. A copy of the video has been made and sent to Nebraska State Patrol to gather more information. From the footage, law enforcement was able to identify an individual putting items into a blue Peterbilt semi that had a livestock trailer attached.

Flyers that describe the semi have been sent to area law enforcement and the local weigh scales.

Anyone who may have seen this vehicle around 81 Express is asked to contact the local law enforcement center.
