HE-Hi/TC Alumni plans May 29 banquet and activites
The Hebron High/Thayer Central High School annual alumni banquet will be held Sunday, May 29, at 6 p.m., in the Thayer Central High School gym at 10th and Eads Avenue in Hebron.
The theme for the 2011 Alumni Banquet is “Memories.” The committee welcomes everyone returning to Hebron on Memorial weekend, as well as those from the local area who will attend the festivities.
Honored classes will be those ending in “6” or “1” from 1936 through 2006 and the graduating class of 2011.
The new graduates are invited free of charge, but must make reservations so the alumni will have an accurate count for the caterers.
Everyone is urged to make banquet reservations early. They may be made by mailing the form on the back page of the newsletter with payment to: He-Hi/Thayer Central Alumni Association, P.O. Box 251, Hebron, NE 68370. Tickets are also available at local businesses, Thayer County Bank, (402) 768-6027, or True Value Hardware, (402) 768-6413.
Meal tickets will be $12.50 each, the same price as the last several years.
Tickets will not be sold at the door the night of the banquet, so make reservations in advance. Tickets previously ordered may be picked up at True Value or Thayer County Bank by Saturday, May 28, or in the lobby of the high school the night of the banquet. Ricky’s Cafe of Hanover will cater the banquet.
Budget Host Inn, 140 S. 13th Street, phone, (402) 768-6524 or Riverside Motel, 305 South 13th Street, Hebron, phone: 402-768-7366. (Under new management.)

The committee works diligently especially for the honor classes. Therefore, the committee urges everyone to attend and enjoy the finale of the alumni weekend.
