Legion Juniors head into area tournament
The Hebron American Legion Junior Baseball Team heads into the C-5 Area 5 tournament Friday, July 13, at Doniphan; winners advance to the state tournament in North Bend July 21-25.
No. 2 Hebron (15-6) faces No. 3 Davenport/Edgar (8-10) at 5 p.m., July 13, in game one of the series.
The final Friday matchup includes No. 4 Doniphan-Trumbull (7-11) against No. 5 Lawrence/Nelson (3-9) at 8 p.m.
No. 1 Dannebrog/Cairo/Boelus (14-4) rounds out the bracket and will play the winner of the Lawrence/Nelson – Doniphan-Trumbull matchup on Saturday, July 14, at 8 p.m.
