Local emergency volunteers undergo training

The meeting of the Thayer County Mutual Aid Association on April 12, was held in part at the Hebron airport. Training, held by Star Care personnel from BryanLGH in Lincoln, centered on preparing an LZ (landing zone) and safety around helicopters. The training is directed at helping Star Care in transporting ill or injured patients when ground transportation is not an option.
