Students take part in Great American Cleanup

Thayer Central students work their way along Dove Road on the northern edge of Hebron Saturday afternoon picking up trash as they participate in the Great American Cleanup. This particular group not only found trash, but recovered a large tire and blow-up airplane. Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup takes place throughout the country from small rural communities to large urban areas during the spring months each year. Two groups of students worked Dove Road Friday afternoon.
