TCEDA asking for public feedback

Thayer County Economic Development Alliance is working to build a stronger, more diverse economy in Thayer County. To do this, TCEDA is moving towards taking on several ambitious projects in the near future. In order for this to happen, TCEDA needs Thayer County residents’ help.

Through several channels, TCEDA will be introducing a short, anonymous survey concerning those businesses and industries that residents of Thayer County would like to see developed.

“This county-wide Industry and Market Gap survey provides an opportunity for you to tell us what businesses you want, what products you need, and what kind of entertainment you enjoy,” TCEDA director, Jeremy Voss said. “Again, it is an anonymous survey, so please feel free to be honest and direct with your responses.”

The survey is linked through www.thayercounty.org or available at www.tceda.webform.com.

“Additionally, we will be distributing the survey to the residents of Thayer County several additional ways in the coming weeks, so please be on the lookout for it,” Voss said.

The data collected from this survey will be used as the cornerstone of county recruiting and marketing projects. TCEDA will focus recruitment and retention on those businesses that citizens indicate as important.

The key results will be reported to the public at the close of the survey set for August 1.

“We appreciate your time and look forward to your responses,” Voss added.
