Lady Eagles head into state contest

Although the D1 No. 4 BDS volleyball team fell to the No. 1 Exeter-Milligan Timberwolves in the D1-2 subdistrict final, the squad garnered enough points to earn a wildcard entry into the state contest. The Lady Eagles will take on No. 5 Sutherland in the first round Thursday, Nov. 10, at 5:30 p.m., at Northwest High School in Grand Island.
