Thayer County Fair kicks off on Thursday
Pre-fair contests have come and gone, and now the Thayer County Fair is here. The 101st annual Thayer County Fair will begin August 8 with a new event added to the list.
Following the parade and Pioneer Farm Family awards on Thursday, there will be a 4-H Night in front of the grandstands at 8 p.m.
The new event is meant to recognize the 4-H members achievements and give general information about the 4-H program. The event will also acknowledge the senior 4-H members. Everyone is invited to attend.
After the recognition, the evening will conclude with a cake auction.
Throughout the three day event, the Thayer County Fair is sure to have something for everyone, and as always, the Hebron Journal-Register will be there to see it happen. Also, as in years past, we’ll publish lots of pictures and all the 4-H results in our annual fair issue.
