Hebron Council installed Monday

The Hebron City Council installed its new elected board Monday night during its regular meeting.

A vacancy in Ward 1 was created after councilman-elect Jim Summers declined the position. The unexpired term of the vacant position is for four years.

Hebron Mayor Shane Day will have four weeks to appoint a qualified elector to fill the vacancy. A majority vote of the City Council is required to approve the individual identified by the Mayor.
